Hello everyone and welcome to the June VC ROCKS blog hop where we are "Celebrating The New"
By that we are featuring stamps from the new anual 2015-2016 Stampin' Up! catalog
My first creation comes from the Sprinkles of Life set.
This set has a matching punch named Tree Builder Punch. Such a fun and versitile set. you can make anything from cupcakes to ice cream cones stacked high or even fun trees or bushes. It's been a great set to play with.

on this card I used what they call a Cut, Flip and add a Strip technique. (I just learned about it myself from Krafting with Karen) I took a piece if DSP cut a section off the bottom, flipped over the cut away piece and added another strip of coordinating DSP to the middle. BOOM! What a fun and quick way to design a bunch of cards simply right?

I also decided to add a couple sample cards of a set called Awesomely Artistic.

The background on the card above was done with a watercolor pen called an Aqua Painter.
you fill it with a bit of water....touch it to your ink and viola, watercolor in a pen tool. I then just stamped my images in a single color over the top. Simple artistic looking and stunning.

On this dragonfly card I used a direct to paper effect with the ink pad to give me my squared off background.

Then finally with this card its more classic. I did stamp the image in memento black pad and watercolored it in with the Aqua Painter.

I was a bit of an over achiever this time around but I couldn't decide which card to use for my entry.
So you got them all, I'm sure you don't mind though right?
Hope you enjoy this weekends VC Rocks Blog Hop, be sure to go back to the blog HERE and check out all the entries.
