Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!! How was your Holiday??? Mine has been super busy but it's winding down some now.  This weeks Sketch Frenzy Friday sketch is brought to you by Diane.

I'm liking the simplicity of this sketch, it's a nice clean look. I managed to busy it up a bit with my choice of  Papers and Card Stock but I like it.

I used Cherry Cobbler card stock with some DSP from the Trim The Tree stack. ( got to get these papers in before they retire)  LOL I used the mosaic Textured Impressions folder to spice up the base layer. I chose Sketched Birthday for my stamp set. I certainly hope you enjoy this weeks sketch and be sure to play along with us on the SFF Blog Here You are welcome to make a creation with it and post it to the blog. Also be sure to check out all the entries this week! Don't for get to leave a comment, it's always nice to hear how we are doing. Thanks for visiting have a great week.....the year is almost gone, can you believe it?? But hey Sale-A-Bration is about to get underway! Woo Hoo always a fun time!

Hello and Welcome to another Sketch Frenzy Friday.....This weeks Sketch is brought to us by Stacey

It's a nice layout, I like the elements in this. I chose to use the set Wondrous Wreath from the Holiday mini catalog, and boy is there ever a lot going on,on this card. :)

I started with a base of Cherry Cobbler, added a layer of Whisper White that I had embossed with the Large Polka Dot Textured Impressions embossing folder. I then cut out a banner from the Banners Framelits and embossed it using Cherry Cobbler ink with the Woodgrain Textured Impressions folder. With the wreath stamp set I had also gotten the bundle which came with the matching framelit set. LOVE IT! So I stamped my wreath in Wild Wasabi ink and layer stamped with Old Olive ink...using the framelits I cut my wreath out as well as the Joy and the Bow image ( the bow was cut out of DSP) For the berries I used Cherry Cobbler ink layered with crystal effects and sprinkled with dazz diamonds glitter, layered them all together added some demensionals on the back of the wreath to pop it up a bit, also added a couple buttons from the Nordic Designer Buttons collection to finish it off.  So there ya go. Hope you enjoy this weeks submission, as always you can participate with this weeks sketch by uploading your version to the blog Here have a good day and see ya agin next week! THANK YOU!

Welcome to this weeks Sketch Frenzy Friday! This weeks sketch was all about triple stamping. Well that's the look anyway! :) Triple layers. I chose the stamp called Blended Bloom. I stamped my main image and colored it in with Blendabilities and then just lined stamped the same image around my main and left it at that. LOVE this look. I used a stamp from Flower Patch for my sentiment. added a few single sequins from the gold sequin ribbon, all done on Whisper White card stock, layered with Cherry Cobbler. Hope you enjoy this weeks challenge. Don't forget to give this fun technique a try and as always post to the blog Here
Have a great week everyone. Thank you for stopping by.

Blended Bloom

Tried my hand at some Blendabillities markers. I like these markers, but they do take some practice. Can't wait to get some more colors! I just love Stampin'Up! Products
HAPPY FRIDAY....and Welcome to another Sketch Frenzy Friday post!
I'm really excited about being able to FINALLY share this card. Have you ever had a card or creation that you complete and think DAMN, that looks good???
For me this weeks submission was just that! LOL

So this is the sketch for this week....brought to us by Kim Innis, pretty fun right??
I like it because it really left the door open for some great possibilities.

So this was my take on it. Not sure why but the Early Espresso color was calling to me. Then while I was flipping through the great pattern papers in the Trim The Tree DSP stack I found this great tree pattern in none other than Early Espresso. So I went with the Festival of Trees stamp set and just LOVE the way this came out. I stamped the images in Crumb Cake and Mossy Meadow, and heat embossed the sentiment in white. Used a little mossy meadow for the layering and finished it off with some gold sequin ribbon. Did I mention I LOVE it? LOL
Okay so that's my submission for this week....Hope you enjoy it. Don't forget you can always partake in our SFF by making a card using this weeks sketch and posting it to our SFF blog HERE
Have a great week and THANK YOU for stopping by! :)

This weeks creations.....

I was able to sit down and just stamp this week. It helps that I received a good sized order I've been putting off. But then I had back order issues with my coordinating dies. I ended up fussy cutting ( not my fav thing to do)! LOL still trying to update my stamping library and supplies. I'm getting there though. So here's some of the cards I came up with. It was so good to just sit down and stamp. So relaxing.
WELCOME....It's that time again! Sketch Frenzy Friday! This weeks Sketch comes to us from My friend Patrice Herrera.

I chose to take this sketch and make a less conventional Halloween Card. The last for the year so why not right? I grabbed a base of Hello Honey and Layered some DSP from Color Me Autumn, I know I've used this a lot but I just love these colors. (next week I'll go back to Christmas) maybe LOL ANYWAY....I stripped a couple pieces of Hello Honey and Mossy Meadow Stitched Satin Ribbon. I then used the thinlits from the Flower Patch Bundle to cut out my main focus. I told you I was doing it a little unconventionally :) I liked the look and it's an out of the norm way to use these particular thinlits. I finished off the look with a couple strips of washi tape added my stamps from Freaky Friends and Ghoulish Greetings and there ya have it. What do ya think??? Cute?? Different??

Thank You so much for stopping by, I had a lot of fun with this card. Remember as always if you'd like to play along with us you can always hit the SFF link right HERE and there's a link at the bottom of the page that will let you add your version of this weeks sketch. Come on....play along with us! ;) Oh and please leave a comment and let me know you stopped by! Enjoy and until next week!

BUTTERFLIES!

A friend was in need of some butterflies for a Halloween costume. I piped up and said I could do that! It turned out great!!! 91 of the buggers. Can't wait to get pics of her costume when it's complete. I love my Explore and all the things it can do!!!
Hello and Welcome to another Sketch Frenzy Friday post....! This week we have a wonderful sketch from Elizabeth Harris.
 Fun right??

I love that there's lots of landscape to add some embossing and such.

I went with a winter theme. The background is embossed using Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions folder. I used a bit of DSP from the Moonlight Stack. My image comes from the stamp set Mingle All The Way. I stamped it in Pool Party and dabbed some color with markers. Sweet and simple. I love how it came out. Thank you all for looking and of course if you want to play along you can by posting your version of this sketch Here. Have a great week everyone!

Fall Center Piece

This was a fun project I worked on this week with my Cricut Explore. Def a labor of love lol but I'm happy with it. I used a " make it now" project in the Cricut Explore Design Space.

Hello and Welcome to this weeks Sketch Frenzy Friday Post.
This weeks Sketch comes from my good friend Terri Tank.

My take on this was a Christmas card. I used a stamp set from the Holiday Catty Called Holiday Home.

I chose a card base of Cherry Cobbler, Stamped the houses on whisper white card stock in Pool Party, Old Olive, and Smokey Slate. Paneled them on to pool party card stock. I embellished using Cherry Cobbler candy dots, white seam binding ribbon and silver 1/8 in ribbon. Oh and a touch of crystal effects on the light bulbs. Hope you enjoy my rendition of this sketch. Remember that you can always try your hand out at recreating this card or using this sketch. If you do please post a pic of it Here on our SFF Blog. :) Have a great week, and THANK YOU for stopping by. Comments always welcome.

October Cuteness

So Today I combined MyDigitalStudio once again with my Cricut Explore and came up with a fun October Tank Top! I love doing the iron on with the Stampin'Up! images ;)

WOW...okay It's Friday again already??? My weeks seem to just fly by anymore. Well since it's Friday it's time for another Sketch Frenzy Friday Post. This weeks sketch is brought to us by Diana Elchfeild.

This was a challenging sketch for me, not at all a style I would have picked out myself. Which is EXACTLY why I enjoy doing these weekly posts. To stretch my creativity and get out of my comfort box.

So....I again grabbed my Color Me Autumn DSP (love this DSP)
I used Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow and Sahara Sand card stock and inks. With the leaves I did something a little different, I cut them out of the DSP then brushed the edges with ink, then popped them up with demensionals added my sentiment from For All Things stamp set also out of the Holiday Mini catty.

So there ya go....now go forth and recreate....LOL Yes, recreate this sketch and share with us on our SFF Blog HERE
Happy Stamping everyone and I'll see ya again next Friday! ;)

Hello and HAPPY FALL!
It's Friday and time for another Sketch Frenzy Friday entry. Our Sketch this week comes from Kathy Clark.
I like this sketch. I don't know why but it def stood out for me.

I'm just starting to get into the fall theme....Usually by now I'm deep into making Halloween cards but this year I haven't really grasped it. BUT I think the fall colors and all the leaves are speaking to me this year! ;)

This DSP is so pretty I think, I just love it. Here in Texas late in the summer we have all the beautiful Monarch Butterflies fly through for their migration....this card reminds me of that! I was amazed the first time I was able to witness it. ANYWAY...I feel like I'm babbling LOL With this card I used Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow, and Tangelo Twist card stock and ink colors. This lovely DSP comes from the Color Me Autumn DSP pack. I really enjoy this pack. I added a few candy dots for a sweet embellishment. Hope you enjoy my entry for this week. Thank you so much for coming and visiting. Please leave a comment and let me know how I'm doing. I love to hear the feedback. If you'd like to participate in this weeks challenge, ( YES YOU CAN ) just go to our Sketch Frenzy Friday blog Here and there's a link at the bottom for you to be able to add your creation of this sketch so we can all see. So until next week....Happy Stamping!

Baby Onesie

Loved this saying.......had to make up this adorable onesie. My Explore makes it so easy to craft with iron on.

Cricut wooden holiday signs

Spent the day yesterday playing with my Cricut Explore and making wooden signs for the season. Several we done just using paint and vinyl, a few others were done using the Cricut Print then Cut feature. I printed the images on my home printer then was able to cut them out with my Explore.....! Love this!!!! Opens so much in my crafting world. :)

09/26/2014 SFF

Hello and welcome to this weeks Sketch Frenzy Friday posting. This weeks sketch was a rather challenging one for me. Completely not my style, so it resulted in me not straying too far from the original. ( back to my literal roots again) hahaha

I used Flower Shop for my stamp set as well as the sentiment from Sketched Birthday. I stamped the background in Pear Pizzazz, layered on Pear Pizzazz and Pink Pirouette card stock. I added a couple stamped flowers in Pink Pirouette and a punched out and popped up flower in Pear Pizzazz. A candy dot, and ribbon of Mossy Meadow stitched satin, as well as a touch of white seam binding ribbon. I think it came out with a nice soft touch. Hope you enjoy it as well.

So here's the Sketch that was submitted by Marisol G, remember we encourage you to try out this sketch  for yourself and if you do please share it with us on our Sketch Frenzy Friday Blog HERE There's a link to add yours at the bottom of this weeks post. Hope you have a great week and Thank You so much for visiting.

Spurs Throw Blanket

I wanted to use up some scrap material I had floating around. Added some cut designs using my Cricut Explore and made a great game time snuggle blanket for this winters NBA season!!!! Love my Spurs!!! GO SPURS GO!!!

Mesh Wreath

My first crack at it!! Added some cuts from my Cricut Explore for a festive decoration.
Welcome to this weeks Sketch Frenzy Friday......
My take on it was of course to go Halloween with it!
I've been loving this Freaky Friends set and the fun Ghoulish Greatings to pair with it. I used the Motley Monster DSP along with Sahara Sand, Tangelo Twist, basic black, Tangerine Tango and whisper white card stocks. Textured impressions embossing folder Honeycomb, scallop punches, and finished off with a polish of candy dots from the neutrals collection. Hope you enjoy my take on this weeks sketch and please do join in with us and recreate this card or any of the others using this set or try a version of your own. If you do be sure to post it on our SFF blog Here. Have a great week and see you again next Friday and Every Friday

HELLO......(seems to be the theme for me this entry)

Here is this weeks Sketch Frenzy Friday Sketch............this sketch was contributed by Jennifer Kay.

I took license and tipped the sketch 45 degrees. I used Hello Love and Let Your Hair Down stamp sets. Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey card stock and inks. With a splash of Hello Honey stitched satin ribbon. This little bird just strikes me as the cutest! I love this little guy. Hope you enjoy this weeks sketch.

Thank you so much for visiting me this week,

Happy Halloween

Freaky Friends stamp set, stitched satin ribbon and the fun fall colored washi tape.

Bewitching

I'm waiting on a back ordered sentiment set that I bought to go with this fun Freaky Friends stamp set for my fall cards. I couldn't wait to play so I made this card and figured I'd just add a sentiment later.. (Yes I'm excited). LOL love the matching DSP for this stamp set also. So fun!!!

Just For You

I was cleaning up some in my craft room and found some pieces of cards gone wrong. So I blended then together and came up with this lovely card I titled Just For You! Started with Modern Mosaic textured impressions folder. Added some already cut card stock pieces I was going to use once but changed my mind. Lol (scallop punch) was used. The flower is from Flower Patch stamp set and cut out with the matching Flower Flair framelits. Punched my sentiment with the word window punch from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. I added some candy dots and there ya go. :) I must still have last weeks SFF sketch on the brain because I just so happens once I posted this I noticed it followed that sketch! LOL

SFF-090514 Happy Blooming

Hello Stampers, welcome to my first blog post as a Design Team member of Sketch Frenzy Friday. Below you will see this weeks sketch of the week.

I used Calypso Coral for my card base and some DSP from the All A Bloom paper stack. Love this pattern. My stamp set is Flower Patch. I just love this stamp set. So many beautiful combinations of flowers can be created with it. I finished up with some Daffodil Delight card stock and a candy dot of Garden Green.

This sketch was a challenge for me because I have a tendency to take them (sketches) very literal. My first try at it was an exact, and someone kindly pointed that out to me! ;) So I'm working on playing outside the rules a bit with a sketch! Not too much of a stretch but it's a start right?? Hope you enjoy my interpretation. Thank you so much for visiting. Be sure to also visit our other Design Team members listed on the right.

Celebrate

This was a fun card that I came up with for a VC Rocks challenge we were given a sketch to follow and this was my submission for that challenge. I used Sketch Birthday Stamp Set from Stampin'Up!, DSP, Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, and Whisper White card stocks. Melon mambo and Pacific Point inks with a dimensional thrown in. Nice basic sketch with great results.

Be You tiful

This was a fun card using the news print background from MDS I just printed it out trimmed it down and used as my background paper. Stamped the flower in Calypso Coral on the paper and masked it to stamp the leaves in Pear Pizzazz. The splatters are from Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in Calypso Cora, added some candy dots in Pear Pizzazz.

A Chance To Play

I managed to earn little play time after some errands today. Trying to work with some different non "go to" colors for me. It's a start I guess.
