Celebrate

This was a fun card that I came up with for a VC Rocks challenge we were given a sketch to follow and this was my submission for that challenge. I used Sketch Birthday Stamp Set from Stampin'Up!, DSP, Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, and Whisper White card stocks. Melon mambo and Pacific Point inks with a dimensional thrown in. Nice basic sketch with great results.

Be You tiful

This was a fun card using the news print background from MDS I just printed it out trimmed it down and used as my background paper. Stamped the flower in Calypso Coral on the paper and masked it to stamp the leaves in Pear Pizzazz. The splatters are from Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in Calypso Cora, added some candy dots in Pear Pizzazz.

A Chance To Play

I managed to earn little play time after some errands today. Trying to work with some different non "go to" colors for me. It's a start I guess.

Floral Birthday

Hello Love

Flower Patch Birthday

Work of Art stamp set

I have a strange relationship with this stamp set. LOL I look about for inspiration and to see what others are doing with these stamps and I'm amazed. The creativity is mind blowing. But when I sit down to put this set to ink I draw a complete blank and I end up forcing myself to make "something" LOL I end up casing someone else's idea. Two of these were cased  one wasn't, I won't reveal which. Hoping someday this set will talk to me! Until then.....this is what I got! ;)

Happy

I used the stamp pad direct to paper to get the frame background effect in Crushed Curry. I think this is one of my new fav techniques. I really need to order the pansy punch...the fussy cut thing is getting old! LOL I used a combo of Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry, Island Indigo, Garden Green, and Always Artichoke inks. Whisper White, Crushed Curry and Cherry Cobbler card stocks.

Birthday

Many Thanks

Had a little while to play this evening.

Just playing around

These were a few cards I came up with Saturday while playing around with the Flower Flair Framelits. Just trying to get the hang of them. Had a small learning curve for me lol but I managed to overcome that. The yellow one was done just using the Framelits with pattern paper, no stamping. So alone or with the compatible stamp set Flower Patch, these Framelits give you a lot of versatility. If you would like to purchase these or other Stampin'Up! products then click the order now blinky on the right. Remember you can completely order online if you'd like. I can answer any questions also.

Using an Aqua Painter

I was playing around this evening with an Aqua Painter....this is a fun little tool to make water coloring quick easy and almost mess free. Water goes in the reservoir you squish the top of you ink pad before you open it, and it will look like the pic above. Just squeeze out a little water to dampen your brush tip, dip into the ink lid and start water coloring. If i end up with excess water in my ink pad lid I just lightly dab it with a paper towel and close it up. No mess! If you haven't tried it before, then give it a try. If you want to but need an Aqua painter and/or some ink then just follow my link on the side to order from me. ;) Thanks for reading. Happy day to you! ;)
