SKETCH FRENZY FRIDAY

Simple and clean sketch this week. I used Tip Top Taupe and Bashful Bride card stocks and inks. A bit of Tip Top Taupe DSP and the Awesomely Artistic stamp set. Added a piece of lace ribbon also in Tip Top Taupe, to give it a lil ruffle. Hope you enjoy this weeks sketch be sure to play along by using the link on the SFF blog to add your own version. More Pretties

Here's another group of cards I haven't had a chance to post here yet. The first is an attempt at what they call colored kissing. I loved how it turned out. So you ink up your solid image...in this case it's the butterfly and stamp your first layer. Then you ink up a pattern stamp ( dots) and stamp directly on the butterfly background stamp...not the paper but the stamp itself. Once you've covered your whole stamp then turn it over Hough on it and stamp over first image. What a fun look, and a fun way to change up a single image.

A dream.....

I woke up the other morning envisioning a card idea. Well it was more like I was dreaming about making a card. This was the result of that dream and an early morning stamping session. Hope you enjoy.

Some Cards From The Weekend

I was able to spend a little time over the weekend creating some CASE'd cards and trying out some other ideas that have been floating around in my mind. Hope you enjoy some of these.
Hey guys....happy weekend to you! With this post I'm celebrating....along with many others....the 15th Birthday of VC ROCKS. Hence the Birthday card below!
I've been fortunate enough to be able to play these last couple of years again. Yes again because I believe I've been in and out a few times depending on whats happening with life. I remember back in the day when this all started......things were so different then. Times have changed but many are still rockin on, and I'm happy to be rockin with them.

My card for this blog hop is from a little stamp set called Build a Birthday. Starting with the base I used Bermuda Bay card stock and a layer of DSP from the Cherry on top DSP stack. Love the fun bright colors. I stamped, or should I say built my cake in Watermelon Wonder, Bermuda Bay, Cucumber Crush and Hello Honey, topped it with a little Marina Mist for the banner. I then added some gold sequin ribbon and sprinkled a few sequins around the card. I did a little direct to paper technique to give the sides a little something. That's it...quick and easy card.
Hope you are enjoying the blog hop this weekend. Thank You for stopping by. Now  I must get back to tearing up...uh em I mean cleaning up my house!

Hello and Welcome to this weeks Sketch Frenzy Friday post. This weeks sketch is brought to us by Diana Eichfeld.

For my card I chose a base of Soft Suede and embossed it with the Woodgrain Textured Impressions embossing folder. I pulled out my Pretty Petals dsp stack for the beautiful poppy type flower print. I really love these designs in this stack. I stamped my images from the Awesomely Artistic stamp set in Old Olive, Soft Suede and Calypso Coral. The banner pieces were punched using the Banner Triple punch. I added a touch of Calypso ribbon to finish it off. See below.

I really like the layout of this sketch. I might need to revist this one a few times.
Thank you so much for visiting. Remember you are always welcome to play along. The link is on the bottom of this weeks post at the Sketch Frenzy Friday blog HERE

Weekend Stamping Challenges
Welcome to the July Fourth Holiday version of Sketch Frenzy Friday!
This weeks sketch comes from Kim Innis

I sadly noticed I didn't have any stars in my collection of supplies. What The What?? So I needed to get a little creative on my submission. I used the flowers from Flower patch stamp set and created these fun firework like images :) I stamped them in Watercolor Wonder and Pacific Point inks as well as a couple in versamark and using heat and stick powder I covered them with Dazzling Diamonds glitter. (yes I used a heat gun) I say that because it's been a while since I've pulled out the embossing gun .Added a strip of Watermelon Wonder DSP added a sentiment from Crazy about You stamp set and finished with some gold sequin ribbon. Hope you enjoy this little touch of Holiday Flair. Have a great week and we'll see you again next week. Take Care....have a safe fourth and Thank You for stopping by.
